A typical Saturday morning in Bellingen. The locals walk the dog, pick up the paper & coffee, maybe grab some groceries. They always tie the dog up in front of the supermarket.

Managed to get out during a break in the weather. This image gives a good idea of what it’s like around this part of the coast at the moment
Still sitting watching the high & low tides with more rain in the catchment area. Weather people say more rain until Sunday. To wet & bleak to get out, so reviewing old images when not working on tax returns. I really like this one, it just seems so simple to me.
Sitting waiting for the great flood, high tide at midnight will not help.

A very wet & miserable Monday, to busy & to wet to get outside ( this is Australia in mid summer ) it could pass for early winter today. This image was from yesterday (a fine Sunday morning) at the Coffs Harbour Jetty Markets.
I came across a vendor of organic vegetables & fruit this morning. I am not a big eater of garlic but this appealed to me & I had to take the image.
A very nice way to spend a Saturday morning
I went to Valla Beach. Enjoyed a nice walk along the waters edge. It’s a really great place for beach walks & ideal for families. Afterward I stopped in at the Valla Store for a coffee. It’s a truly Old Fashioned beach side shop. A place for groceries, good food & coffee plus all the things you need on your holidays but forgot to bring.
